NYSW No. 3042 was found, along with some other rolling stock and engines, on old siding at the former Lakawanna Freight House in Utica, NY.

Historic Fort Herkimer Church, NY. What originally began as a single-story structure built by the original Palatine settlers at Fort Herkimer in 1753. It was part of the Fort Herkimer complex in the 1750s in the defense of the Mohawk Valley during the French and Indian War. It also served as an important focal point of defense during the Revolutionary War.
